Every Picture Tells A Story
The man and his dog.
This man can’t live without his dog and his dog can’t
live without him. A bag binds them. Wherever the man goes the dog goes with
him. The dog doesn’t make a fuss just sits in the bag happy to be in the same
room as the man. Not a bark not a noise just contentment oozes out of the duo.
I envy them.
The lone millipede.
This is the season when the millipedes and centipedes
crawl out and cause us humans to run for cover. Though why people run away from
them I don’t understand. They make the awesomest jack in the box or rather
guess what I’m holding in my hands trick. If you touch them the curl up and lie
still. They make miniature Frisbees. In school I used to collect them and throw
them at people who used to try and bully me. They were not scared of me but
they were scared of something much much tinier than me. I figured that people
wouldn’t come near me if I had some creepy crawly with me. I remember showing a
girl earth worms and convincing her that they were baby snakes and that their
poison was far more potent than the adult snake. It was more fun to hold them
up and ask her to pet them J
The dog in the theater.
This mutt ran inside the theater and found himself a
chair. Jumped on it and settled himself there for his afternoon nap while we
humans walked inside the theater to waste 2 very precious hours of our life.
Should have napped instead like the dog.
The wasp that drowned in the Beer.
I only remember the conversation over this pitcher and
now I can’t help but marvel at how much has changed between my friend and I
since this pitcher.
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
For some reason this picture reminds me of the movie. One
of my favorite movies. This was taken at Sheradi Ghats. Not the route we usually take to head out to
Mangalore. We probably went this way to keep some memories out or may be it was
just bad roads or both.
